DESCRIPTION:

Raytech series DDSA Sampling detectors are very compact power/signal samplers and detectors in an integrated package for monitoring and measuring the power output of signal sources and power amplifiers. They have a very small insertion length compared to standard combination of directional couplers and detectors traditionally used for this purpose. 

Based on the specific application or requirement, the sampling (coupling) level of the product can be tailored to match the range of input power levels. Nominal detector output voltage ranges from a few mV to 1 volt.  

Series DDSA sampling detectors are available in waveguide bands from WR-28 to WR-06 as standard products. The nominal coupling level for the standard products is between 20 and 30 dB depending on the waveguide band. However, it can be customized to any desired coupling level between 10 and 40 dB for any waveguide band to suit the input power  level range.

 In addition to Sampling Detectors, Raytech can also supply Compact Sampling Harmonic  Mixers, Series RSHM, which includes version with built-in diplexer for use with instruments or frequency /phase locking applications.
