Space Qualified WR-34 Waveguide Bandpass Filter for 30.0 – 31.0 GHz with min. 70 dB Rejection at < 28 GHz and 33 – 40 GHz
Part Number: FIBP-3101A01
The Raytech FIBP-3101A01 is a space-qualified WR-34 waveguide bandpass filter optimized for Ka-band operation (30.0–31.0 GHz). It features a sharp rejection skirt and provides ultra-broad rejection, achieving a minimum of 70 dB attenuation below 28 GHz and from 33–40 GHz. This ensures excellent out-of-band suppression in demanding aerospace and satellite communication systems.
By default, the filter is machined from aluminum with a chromate finish, offering a lightweight yet robust structure. For environments requiring thermal stability, Invar construction is available to minimize dimensional shifts under extreme temperature variations. To further enhance surface conductivity and long-term durability, alternative plating options such as gold or silver are offered in addition to chromate.
With a low passband insertion loss of 0.5dB, and a compact WR-34 package (0.88″ × 0.88″ × 3.50″), the FIBP-3101A01 is designed for high-reliability, space-qualified systems requiring both precision filtering and environmental resilience.
